JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) announced that BDx Indonesia has reached an agreement to acquire a data center owned by Indosat.

Meanwhile, BDx Indonesia, which is a joint venture company Indosat, Data Centers (BDx), and Lintaarta, has agreed to acquire carrier-neutral colocation and edge sites in major cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Batam, Medan, Makassar, Bandung, and Semarang.

This acquisition also includes ten strategic locations connected to six domestic submarine cables and five international sea cables.

In realizing this acquisition, BDx Indonesia received loan facilities from three banks in Indonesia, namely BCA, Bank Permata, and Bank Bukopin amounting to IDR 2.625 trillion.
