JAKARTA Meta mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan menghentikan fitur notifikasi telepon pada update Quest v60. Kabar ini diumumkan langsung melalui Catatan Rilis Meta Quest build 60.

With the removal of this feature, you will not be able to see the phone notification while using the HeadsetQuest VR. Meta only says that this feature will be discontinued without explaining the reason further.

The loss of this feature will be implemented gradually in the HeadsetMeta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 2 starting Monday, December 4. Meta is now only focused on developing the Passthrough feature on its devices.

In fact, the feature of seeing this notification is very useful for Meta Quest headset users. While they are busy with the head set, it will be difficult for them to find out important information on their cellphones.

They have to release the headset for a moment just to check notifications directly on their cellphones. This method is quite a hassle and not everyone can release theirheadset when it sinks with its activities.

However, Quest 3 users can reportedly still see mobile notifications via Passthrough. As you know, this feature does show views around in real-time with light settings on the phone.

You can still find notifications on Passthrough, but The Verge says that it will be difficult to do on Quest Pro and Quest 2. Quest Pro will find it difficult to read screens, while Quest 2 features a very bad black-and-white graph.

Despite Meta cutting its useful features, the company added several new things like the Expanded Horizon Home, Extended Layout capabilities, renewable profiles, end-to-end coverage encryption, and much more.
