JAKARTA Since 2022, TikTok has partnered with Ticketmaster, the world's largest ticket seller, to bring the ability to buy tickets directly through the TikTok platform.

For a year, the feature was only available in the United States, but not all TikTok users could get access. Now, TikTok is keeping its promise to expand its integrated ticket purchase service.

On Monday, December 4, TikTok announced that ticket purchase features on its platform were already available in more than 20 countries. This feature is now accessible in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France, and Canada.

Other countries that can still access this feature are Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, and Sweden.

Certified Artists on TikTok in participating countries can use Ticketmaster ticket features to promote their live and connect with fans around the world, TikTok said in its official release.

With the presence of an integrated feature directly to the Ticketmaster website, TikTok seeks to make it easier to purchase tickets in just one click. This feature is believed to be able to help artists promote their work in building careers.

TikTok helps them (the artists) expand their viewers globally and build their careers, enough to allow them to add a Ticketmaster link to their video before its publication," TikTok explained.

So far, artists who have used the featureticketing on TikTok are Niall Horan, The Kooks, Burna Boy, and Shania Twain. Apart from artists, TikTok says that comedians to sports teams can use this feature for promotional events.
