JAKARTA - French striker Anthony Martial is reportedly not going to continue his career with Manchester United and will be a free agent at the end of this season.

The latest news was conveyed by European transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano through his Instagram account.

"It has been confirmed, Anthony Martial will leave Man United as a free transfer player," Romano wrote as reported by Antara on Saturday.

Martial is one of the senior players in the Red Devils squad. He has strengthened MU since 2015.

For nine seasons, Martial has made 317 appearances and 90 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils.

However, recently there have been several rumors related to his future plus there is no sign that MU will extend the 28-year-old player's contract.

According to the same report, Martial himself has received a number of offers from several European clubs including from Turkey and France.

Romano said that they had sent their offer to the player's agent.

Currently Martial and his agent are considering the offers before choosing which clubs to join.

Martial himself is reportedly unable to defend Manchester United in the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The striker suffered an injury and his recovery period reportedly lasted quite a long time.

Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag even implied the player could no longer play for his team for the rest of the season.

"Martial is training, but whether he will play again this season... I don't know. He is still being handled by the medical team," Ten Hag was quoted as saying by Romano.
