Indonesian U-20 National Team Undergoes Trial Against China U-20

The U-20 Indonesian national team tested against China U-20 (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The U-30 Indonesian national team will undergo a test match against China U-20 at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 20.30 WIB.

Indra Sjafri as the coach of the U-20 Indonesian national team has summoned 37 players to demonstrate his abilities in the trial.

The composition of the players chosen by Indra Sjafri is fairly balanced. In addition to calling a number of subscription players, the coach also provides opportunities for new names.

This was deliberately done by Indra Sjafri in order to find the best talent to fill the team. Previously, it was known that this trial was held in preparation for the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup and the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification which leads to the 2025 U-20 World Cup.

Before undergoing the test against China U-20, Indra Sjafri's team had a training camp in Doha, Qatar at the end of December 2023. After that, the training camp was carried out in Jakarta.

Indra Sjafri's troops have also undergone a test match against Bhayangkara Presisi Indonesia, Thailand U-20, Uzbekistan U-20, and Suwon FC.
