Waiting For Conor McGregor Comeback At UFC 306

JAKARTA The famous Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor is expected to return to the octagon on September 14. According to rumors he will appear in Las Vegas Sphere, the newest casino in the Las Vegas gambling city.

Signs of McGregor's return are implied by UFC President Dana White's statement in Jim Rome's talk show.

Previously, news broke that McGregor would fight again in UFC 300. The event is scheduled to be held at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas on April 13. McGregor's name is not on the list of fights. UFC 300 features the main party for the race for the lightweight heavyweight title between defending champions from Brazil, Alex Pereira against US challenger Jamahal Hill.

If he performs at UFC 306 which will be held in Las Vegas Sphere on September 14, McGregor is expected to face his arch-enemy, Dustin Poirier. Three times McGregor have dueled against Poirier, with one win and two defeats.

McGregor's last duel against Poirier occurred at UFC 264 at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas on July 10, 2021. McGregor was declared defeated by TKO after experiencing a broken leg in round 2. Since then, the controversial Irish fighter has not yet competed.
