Yeremia Rambitan Hopes That Pramudya Will Not Withdraw From The PBSI National Training Center

Yeremia Rambitan hopes that Pramudya Kusumawardana will not leave the Pelatnas PBSI Cipayung (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Yeremia Rambitan hopes that his partner in the men's doubles, Pramudya Kusumawardana, will not leave the national training camp (Pelatnas) PBSI Cipayung.

The men's doubles coach, Aryono Miranat, previously confirmed that Pram had expressed his intention to leave Pelatnas. However, at this time the decision is not final.

Yere also confirmed his colleague's wish. However, he hopes Pram can change his mind because they are currently chasing tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"If he wants to go to college, maybe try it first until the 2024 Olympics. It's a responsibility. Hopefully he changes his mind, but still the decision is in his hands," said Yere.

Pram once conveyed this intention to continue his lecture to Yere about three months ago. However, on the other hand, there is also a desire to keep playing badminton, especially chasing opportunities for Paris later.

Yere said that even though there were plans to leave, Pram's desire to stay at Pelatnas seemed to still exist. This can be seen from the conversation between the two of them.

"About 70 percent of him can still play again. I know this from our chat. From there I saw 70 percent he could play again. I myself want to continue," he said.

Currently Pram himself has decided to take a vacation first from the National Training Center. He is now in Japan enjoying a vacation with his family.

Yere admitted that Pram's wish for the holiday had been conveyed to him. He may have used the vacation to calm his mind, especially recently that he looked a lot gloomy at the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center.

"Refreshing the river. He may need his mind to be fresh. If the practice looks gloomy. Like it. He prefers to be silent lately. Yes, just let it (holiday) be fresh," said Yere.
