Becoming A Better Player At Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham Wants To Last 10-15 Years

JAKARTA - Jude Bellingham admits that he feels better as a football player after joining Real Madrid. Joining great players and coaches made him grow rapidly.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid in the transfer market last summer. Since then, the young English player has become an important figure in the team through his contribution, especially in terms of scoring goals.

"100 percent (better). When you're around the mentality and quality of players every day, it's going to take you to a new level mentally, physically and technically," Bellingham said as quoted by the BBC via Antara.

He then thanked coach Carlo Ancelotti who saw his talent could play more forward as a midfielder. "Carlo basically said that this position was where he saw me," Bellingham said.

The 20-year midfielder has been very productive this season by scoring 8 goals from eight matches in La Liga 2023/2024. That's the same number he made last season from 31 games with Dortmud in the Bundesliga.

The score of his goal temporarily made him perched as the club's top scorer and La Liga Spain.

In total, the player who was born on June 29, 2003 this season has scored 11 goals and 5 assists from 13 matches he has played with clubs and national teams.

He also helped secure the title of best player from every game he had played. The details are seven with Madrid and two with England.

"I get a little better every time I play," Bellingham said.

"Since the last few months I have really set my time to get into the penalty box and when I arrived, I arrived with great hunger," he added.

By saying that Los Blancos were a strong factor in his career progress, Bellingham did not hesitate to say that he would stay at the club based at the Santiago Bernabeu for the next 10-15 years.

"This is a club I want to be for the next 10-15 years of my life. I love being in Madrid," closed Jude Bellingham.
