JAKARTA - Speculation about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo or nicknamed CR7 is heating up. Recently, rumors emerged that the Manchester United player would return to Sporting Lisbon.

This rumor emerged after there were claims that Cristiano Ronaldo's car was at the Portuguese club's headquarters. This definitely got his boyhood club fans excited.

It was Sport TV Portugal who posted a photo of a car that was claimed to be owned by Cristiano Ronaldo. The post on Instagram was later captioned, "A photo is circulating on social media which they say is the Portuguese player's car in Jose Alvalade's garage."

Reports emerged that the former Real Madrid and Juventus player was discussing the possibility of returning to Sporting on loan for the next season.

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was quick to debunk the rumors. He asserted that the claim was false.

The 37-year-old commented under the photo: "Fake."

Previously, CR7 caused a stir by telling the leadership of Manchester United about his desire to leave Old Trafford. The intention was done because he wanted to play in the Champions League next season.
