Viral Before Release, MALIQ & D Essentials Finally Introduce Single 'We Make Romantic'

JAKARTA - MALIQ & D Essentials successfully reaped their existence thanks to their single some time ago, 'Aduh' that made a joke. Now the band consists of Angga, Widi, Indah, Java, Lale, and Ilman released the latest ammunition entitled 'We Make it Romantic'.

One thing is interesting, their song has gone viral on tiktok before it was officially released today (8/3/2024). The 30-second audio clip of the song Kita Makes Romantic released on tiktok as of February 28 to date has been used more than 250 thousand times.

The official audio pre-release was released to coincide with the wedding day of one of the vocalists, Angga Puradiredja.

"We are very happy to see the public response to the snippets of the song Kita Makes Romantic. The content is in accordance with the premises when we first wrote this song. That not all romantic things are sweet. In fact, we often find true happiness in a simplicity", said Widi Puradiredja.

Angga et al will also issue an official visualizer in the form of compilation of videos on tiktok using audio 30 seconds of the song. This video can be watched on the MALIQ & D Essentials YouTube channel.

"As a form of our appreciation for the public response, we are sorting more than 250,000 creations on Tiktok to make it a visualizer into several parts. We will release everything separately later, accompanying the official video lyrics that have been aired first so that they can be sung immediately, behind the song to know the process behind the making, and finally the official music video which will be worked on by our favorite director Anton Ismael," Angga continued.

Kita Bikin Romantic merupakan single kedua yang diluarkan MALIQ D Essentials sejak kembali bekerja sama dengan Warner Music Indonesia. Lagu Aduh yang dirilis di bulan November 2023 sudah di-stream lebih dari 24 juta kali di Spotify. Sementara official music video Aduh sudah ditonton lebih dari 3 juta kali di youtube.

MALIQ & D'Essentials released their first to fourth albums together with Warner Music Indonesia before walking with Organic Records. Prior to this several hits of the song MALIQ were performed by several Warner Music musicians such as Untitled by Rahmania Astrini, He by Eclat, Civilized by Chintya Gabriella, The One by Jevin Julian, Kara Chenoa, and Jinan Laetitia, and Heaven by Rafi Sudirman.
