JAKARTA - Porn For Pyros released a passionate Christmas song titled Pete's Dad.
This new song comes right on holiday season, and features the alt-rock band remembering their time spending Christmas with guitarist Peter's father DisStefano.
This song also celebrates the musician's father who is declared cancer-free.
"Pete's dad don't have cancer anymore/The doctor called and told him so, just before/We sat down for Christmas supplement/ When he found out we were all crimes a little, Perry Farrell's vocalist sang in the refrain section.
Although the song was labeled as new music by Porno For Pyros when they first released their teaser on their X/Twitter page, the song was originally shared almost 30 years ago as an independent single in 1995.
"Friends are the people who act, when Porn for Pyros creates Pete's Dad's song, that's when I found out this group of men were my best friends," DisStefano said in a statement announcing the song.
