JAKARTA - Honda launched an upgrade version on its flagship superbike, CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. Present as the 2024 model, this bike has a different appearance and performance than before.

Reporting from RushLane, Saturday, March 2, this motorbike retains the same silhouette as before. However, this model is getting a refresh on the latest wing design and center and bottom cover.

Visual improvement is also functionally relevant, as it functions to improve motorcycle aerodynamics, thereby optimizing the stability side of the motorcycle.

For the standard version, this motorbike is equipped with a black USD fork. Then, the SP variant gets a USD gold fork and gets a visual choice for the Red Grand Prix and Matte Pearl Morion Black colors.

Fireblade 2024 is Honda's first motor to get a thrust-by-wire (TBW) system, meaning this bike has the ability to unlock and close the throttle valve, allowing independent control of double cylindrical pairs.

This update has helped increase the compression ratio from 13.4 to 13.6. In terms of motorists, acceleration performance will be better in the medium speed range. Handling has been improved for easier control.

Users of these motors also get improved follow-up performance with changes to the ratio of transmission teeth. Electronic control equipment gets the updates needed to support mechanical adjustments made to the engine.

To achieve a higher power to weight ratio, the Honda Fireblade 2024 uses a light body frame component. Honda also focuses on increasing the stiffness of the motorbike to achieve pungent performance and a better driving sensation.

Both the standard variant and SP get an engine with a capacity of 999 cc cooled 4-stroke DoHC 4-cylinder liquid which can produce 218 ps of power and a peak torque of 113 Nm. Equipped with a six-acceleration transmission system, this motor is also equipped with a quick shiftr feature.

This highest model of the CBR series is sold for the Japanese market starting at a price of 2.486 million yen or around Rp260 million.
