Had Delayed, Mazda Will Launch CX-70 At The End Of January

JAKARTA - Mazda, Japan's semi-premium vehicle brand marks early 2024 by introducing its newest product CX-70. As is well known, the model is an SUV positioned under the CX-90 in North America.

According to a Carscoops report, Thursday, December 4, the manufacturer will launch this car on January 30. The new model was originally supposed to be launched last year, but had to be delayed until the beginning of this year.

The launch announcement came from the official website of 'Mazda Canada'. Unfortunately, the information about the model is still very limited, but it is rumored that the SUV will carry a two-line style.

It is likely that Mazda will offer a CX-90 with a luxurious look with high-end materials like any other model. Not only that, it is said that this car will be offered with two variants of the driving engine.

Thus, consumers will be offered the same driving engine as the initial variant of CX-90, namely 6-cylinder segaris turbocharged generating 280 dk of power and torque 450 Nm or 340 dk and torque 500 Nm. Both can be combined with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system developed by the company.

In addition, this SUV is also offered with a plug-in hybrid system with a 2.5 liter engine, producing 323 dk of power and 500 Nm of torque. All versions of the CX-70 are estimated to have all-wheel drive.

Of course, this adds to the company's portfolio in presenting the latest environmentally friendly vehicles. In addition to the CX-70, Mazda intends to launch a CX-50 Hybrid and is expected to sell more other electrification models in the future.
