JAKARTA - After some time releasing the latest crossover under the name Baojun Yep, SGMW (SAIC-GM-Wuling) released the same model as the pickup truck's appearance.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Monday, May 8, Baojun Yep's pickup version has two doors, two chairs, and a spare wheel mounted on the back.

In terms of exterior design, there are no changes when compared to the mini SUV version similar to the crossover from Suzuki, Jimny.

But the most striking difference lies in pillar B, which consists of space to carry goods, as well as spare wheels mounted on the back door.

With the added space to transport goods, it means there are no Car Watch features like in the SUV version. Baojun Yep pickup is available in some colors, namely purple, blue, and green.

Although the manufacturer has not announced further specifications, it is estimated that the power produced by Baojun Yep is not much different from the crossover version.

As an illustration, Baojun Yep has a back axis electric motor with a power of 68 dk and an LFP battery that can cover a distance of 303 km within the reach of CLTC.

For the price range, Baojun Yep pickup is not expected to be much different from the electric SUV version. The car will be released in June at a price of 100,000 yuan or around Rp. 212.1 million.
