Bargain, Moving, Mask Girl, And The Glory Nominations For Critics Choice 2023

JAKARTA - Korean dramas are again showing their defenses in the international entertainment scene. Four Korean dramas, namely Bargain, Moving, Mask Girl, and The Glory, are included in the 29th Critics Choice Awards nominations.

This award is one of the prestigious events that emphasizes television and streaming broadcasts every year. These four dramas are nominated for the Best Foreign Language Series on evidence that the three drama titles have the quality of competing internationally.

The competitors in this nomination are the series The Good Mothers, The Interpreter of Silence, and Lupine.

Bargain tells the story of No Hyung Soo (Jin Seok Kyu) who visits someone and wants to hire Park Joo Young (Jeon Jong Seo). However, No Hyung Soo was surprised when he woke up between his organ auctions. When Hyung Soo wanted to run away, suddenly the earthquake broke out and they had to defend.

Meanwhile, there is the Moving series that tells the story of a group of high school students who have super powers. They don't know that their strength is a legacy from their parents who face the war.

Then there is Mask Girl who tells the story of a woman who lives an ordinary life in the real world, but she is a super star in cyberspace. Once upon a time, the figure of Mask Girl mysteriously disappeared along with the disappearance of a man.

Then there is the series The Glory which tells the story of Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) who experience bullying during school. A few years later, the child of the perundung began attending school and Moon Dong Eun became his school teacher.

These four dramas gained popularity and became the most talked about drama on social media. Bargain had won Best Screenplay at the Cannes International Series Festival 2023.

In addition, Moving also dominates the Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards for six prestigious trophies. The drama also won Grand Bell Awards for Best Series and Best Actress in a Series.

The 29th Critics Choice Awards will be held on January 14, 2023.
