InJourney Airports Records 577,496 People's Movements In D-4 Lebaran, Up 21 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) noted that it has served 577,496 passenger movements at the peak of the Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri homecoming flow or Saturday, April 6, 2024 (H-4 Lebaran) period.

This number is up 21 percent more than traffic in the same period last year which reached 476,851 passenger movements.

"We recorded a significant increase in passenger movements at the peak of this year's Eid homecoming flow. Hopefully, passengers can go home in peace and security," said InJourney Airports President Director Faik Fahmi in a written statement, quoted Monday, April 8.

Faik said that as many as 35 airports managed by InJourney Airports also recorded that they had served 4,157 aircraft movements or grew by 13 percent.

InJourney Airports noted, there are three airports with the highest number of passenger movements at the peak of the Lebaran homecoming, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport Jakarta with a total of 187,750 passenger movements, followed by Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which reached 34,315 passenger movements and Juanda Airport Surabaya with a total of 23,087 passenger movements.
