Hutama Karya: The Progress Of The Development Of The Ibub Health Building And Children At Denpasar Hospital Is 99.47 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) revealed that the progress of the construction of the Maternal and Child Health Service Building at the Prof. Dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar, Bali, worth IDR 197.09 billion, has reached 99.47 percent.

"With the construction and existence of this hospital, it is hoped that it can achieve the goal of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SGSs) to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate (AKI) and Child Mortality Rate (AKB) and support the Medical Tourism program in Bali," said Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 22.

Tjahjo said that this project functions for health service centers, especially for mothers and children, to help achieve the government's target as a referral hospital for the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions.

The project, which began in October 2022 and is targeted to be completed by the end of April 2024, leaves work in the form of testing and adjusting the system to Mechanics, Electric and Pipelines (MEP) before it is fully operationalized.

In an effort to accelerate it, Hutama Karya uses BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology to make the building's physical modeling in accordance with the plan, fast calculation of material volume for monitoring of the remaining material needed.

Kemudian membuat visualisasi progres proyek dalam bentuk 3 dimensional serta membantu percepatan dalam menyusun jadwal rencana dan realisasi pekerjaan.

RSUP Prof.I.GN.G. Ngoerah Denpasar, which is also a type A educational hospital, has a unique design by combining Balinese architectural elements, especially the use of Jogja, teacotta and rice press stone materials on the fasad, while on the roofs use leedu and turquoise ornaments which also increase the aesthetic value.

Meanwhile, Ketut Ariawati as the representative of the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) appreciated Hutama Karya's performance in carrying out the construction that was going well.

"We hope that this new facility can maximize and provide added value for health services in the Bali area and its surroundings," said Ketut Ariawati.
