Five New Sections Of The Trans Sumatra Toll Road Ready To Operate This Year, Here Are The Details

JAKARTA - PT Hakaaston (HKA) is ready to operate five sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) which are targeted to be completed this year.

The five toll roads in question are the Sigli-Padang Tidji-Seulimeum Toll Road from 35.7 kilometers (km) to 74.1 km, the Binjai-Pangkalan Toll Road Brandan from 20 km to 58 km and the Kuala Tanjung-Indrapura-Tebing Tinggi-Dolok-Sinaksak Toll Road from 28.3 km to 83.8 km.

Then, there is the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road (seksi 1 and 2) from 15.7 km to 47.7 km and the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang-Koto Kampar Toll Road from 31 km to 55.7 km.

"We will operate the new sections this year," said HKA Operations Director Martin Nababan in a written statement, quoted on Tuesday, March 5.

From this addition, HKA targets revenue of IDR 680 billion in 2024.

This target increased by 130 percent from 2023 revenue, which was IDR 523 billion.

The five new sections are in line with the development of the JTTS National Strategic Project (PSN) infrastructure which has reached 88.70 percent.

HKA has also prepared strategies to provide maximum service and improve the convenience of toll road users, including by designing four main applications, namely, Astoll which is a platform to provide real-time information about toll road conditions, live CCTV, rest area locations, toll rates and emergency response features.

Furthermore, HKA Toll Road Operation and Maintenance (Trom) supports the work of toll officers in providing services on toll roads.

Finally, HKA Today and Live Asphalt Monitoring System (LAMPS) are important platforms for toll road maintenance and monitoring of hotmix logistics in all production units.
