The Results Of The 2023 Ministry Of Finance Auction Contributed Rp4.58 Trillion To The State Treasury

The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance recorded a total auction transaction value of IDR 44.34 trillion in 2023 and succeeded in contributing to state revenues of IDR 4.58 trillion.

"So from the results of the auction which was directly deposited into the country's treasury, it was Rp4.58 trillion. Usually, the auction has been directly deposited into the state treasury. This is also a very large contribution and a record of 115 years," said Director of Auction Joko Prihanto in a media briefing, Thursday, January 25.

Joko Prihanto said that as state revenues, it came from the proceeds from a net auction of Rp3.06 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp974.24 billion, central tax revenues of Rp330.39 billion, and regional taxes of Rp219.43 billion.

Meanwhile, if we look back, the contribution of the auction to the state treasury this year has increased from last year's IDR 2.77 trillion. Realization in 2022 will increase from 2022, which has a value of IDR 1.9 trillion.

Joko conveyed that the auction has a role and contribution in supporting the national economy. This is reflected in the role of the auction in helping the recovery of state finances and law enforcement through auctions of booty, confiscation, and also auctions of state-owned goods.

Auctions also play a role in helping the completion of Non Performing Loans and supporting the banking intermediation function, through disbursement of collateral by selling auctions. Another role is to help drive the wheels of the economy through increasing the value of goods and creating jobs.

In empowering MSMEs, DJKN also takes a role through carrying out its duties and functions in the auction field. Various stimuli are given to MSME players to market their products through auctions. These stimuli include relaxation in the form of a Bea Auction rate of up to 0 percent, exemption from collateral for those interested in participating in the MSME product auction.

From 2020 to 2023, 1,667 MSME actors have used the auction to sell their products. There are 17,515 lots of goods auctioned, and 11,198 lots of goods sold.

Furthermore, throughout 2023 DJKN has managed to record auction transactions of IDR 44.34 trillion. This value increased by 20.54 percent compared to 2022 which amounted to IDR 35.39 trillion.
