Be Careful! There Is A Fraud Under The Guise Of Recruitment Of KAI Via Whatsapp

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) reminded the public to continue to be aware of all forms of fraud using KAI recruitment mode. The reason is, recently the mode has been circulating in the short message application, WhatsApp.

KAI Vice President Public Relations Joni Martinus said another mode of indication was that there was an e-flyer related to the latest information on October 17, 2023 which stated that there was a large "Open Recruitment" in PT KAI" by displaying certain links other than the official KAI link.

"KAI regrets the irresponsible actions on behalf of KAI recruitment. The public is expected to be more thorough and critical if they get messages in the form of recruitment announcements, as well as ignore if there are parties who promise to help pass recruitment participants," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, October 31.

Joni emphasized that all KAI recruitment information fully uses an official website with the address'recruitment.kai.id' or official social media of the company @karapikita or @kai121.

"If you find recruitment info that is not sourced from the site, so that people can ignore it," he said.

Furthermore, Joni explained that KAI has never carried out the recruitment process through correspondence, either sending files that are deposited through someone or via email.

"KAI also does not charge any applicants and has never collaborated with travel agents in the worker selection process," he explained.
