Collaborating With PT Manunggal Agribusiness, Food Station Holds First Rice Plant In Serang

JAKARTA - Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya held a joint rice planting activity in the context of cooperation between regions and partners of the fostered Farmers group PT Manunggal Agribusiness inmpir Village, Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency, Banten.

President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said, his party held a joint initial rice planting activity in a cultivation program in collaboration with the fostered Farmers group partner of PT Manunggal Agribusiness as a farm management.

"This cultivation program is a form of synergy between the Serang Regency Government through the Farmers Group Partner fostered by PT Manunggal Agribusiness as Farm Management with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) through PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya," said Pamrihadi Wiraryo in a press release, quoted on Sunday, June 25.

According to Pamrihadi, in this first rice cultivation cooperation, the rice to be planted is the Ciherang variety on a technical irrigation area of 17 hectares from the target of 100 hectares.

"This cultivation program applies the principles of Good Agriculture Practice and uses a legowo 2 grade planting system: 1," he explained.

The cultivation program, continued Pamrihadi, was able to increase the productivity of the harvest, which was originally around 4.5 to 5.5 tons, increased to 6 to 6.5 tons per hectare.

"All yields will be purchased by the Food Station at prices that do not harm farmers," he said.

Pamrihadi added that the presence of the Food Station with this pattern of cooperation is expected to build a good agricultural ecosystem, so that the goals and expectations of both parties are achieved.
