BALI - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has officially handed over the G20 2022 Presidency which is assumed by Indonesia to be continued by India in 2023.

In a session at the close of the G20 summit, the President handed the hammer to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a symbol of the leadership relay in the Group of 20.

"I also want to express my highest appreciation to all working groups and engagement groups for their dedication to their thoughts and contributions to the G20 Presidency of Indonesia", he said.

"In addition to the declaration, Indonesia produces a concrete deliverable that contains a list of G20 member countries' cooperation projects and invitations. This cooperation project will help improve the work of the G20 better and ensure that the G20 is beneficial not only for members but also for the world and especially developing countries", said President Jokowi.
