According to him, the Mitsubishi brand car with the police number BN 8315 PS drove from Pangkalpinang City while carrying 500 LPG gas cylinders containing three kilograms.

"While driving in the Serdang Village area, the car suddenly caught fire after hearing a loud explosion from behind the car," he said.

He explained that there were no casualties in the incident, but as many as 500 gas cylinders and one car were burned.

"We can't confirm the cause of the fire, but it's a temporary guess because of gas leaking," he said.

The fire was extinguished after officers struggled for 30 minutes, but it caused a traffic jam at the scene.
