The Attorney General's Office Again Examines Robert Bono Regarding The Tin Corruption Case

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) have again examined businessman Robert Bono Susatyo (RBS) related to the investigation into the alleged corruption case of tin trading in the PT Timah Tbk Mining Business Permit (IUP) from 2015 to 2022.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Ketut Sumedana said two witnesses were examined today, both from the private sector.

"The Yaupdate was being investigated, later we will release complete data on the people being examined," said Ketut, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

Ketut ensured that the two witnesses examined today were not Sandra Dewi, because of the parties given from the private sector. "Both are from the private sector," he said.

Ketut said that until now Jampidsus investigators had examined 174 witnesses.

"Intensive examinations continue," said Ketut.

Robet Bono had previously been questioned Monday (1/4), but Ketut could not reveal how many questions investigators asked and revealed his role in the case.

According to him, the examination of witnesses can continue depending on the needs of investigators.

"If investigators feel that they lack an examination, yesterday they may be called back, or in the future, how will they see the progress later," said Ketut.

At around 14:16 WIB, two legal advisers, Robert Bono, were seen waiting in the waiting room for the guests of the Jampidmil building at the Attorney General's Office.

According to legal counsel, his client was not examined, but to complete the signature of the official report file which on the first day of the examination had not been signed.

Robert Bono was observed leaving the Jampidmil building at around 15:58 WIB, going straight to the parking basement and did not want to provide information to reporters.

Robert Bono's investigation was carried out after investigators named Helena Lim and Harvey Moeis as suspects in a corruption case that was detrimental to the state due to environmental damage caused by Rp271 trillion.
