KPU Chairman Questions Expert Witnesses In Arresting NasDem Party Witnesses At The Constitutional Court Session

JAKARTA - Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia, Hasyim Asy'ari, was silent by I Gusti Putu Artha, who was an expert from the Ganjar-Mahfud camp during the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial at the Constitutional Court (MK), today, Tuesday, April 2.

It started when I Gusti Putu Artha wanted to express her opinion as an expert. However, Hasyim suddenly interrupted.

At that time, Hasyim questioned the status of I Gusti Putu Artha, who was known to be a witness from the NasDem Party in the national level recapitulation process.

"We need to convey the permission of the assembly, the respondent, that Putu Artha was at the time of the recapitulation at the national level, he was present as a witness from the NasDem Party, as a note," said Hasyim.

Hearing this, Putu then stated that when he had resigned as a witness from the NasDem Party

"I have resigned, on the 20th and this is a document for the receipt of resignation on the 20th from the NasDem Party," said Putu. "How come I canceled the letter," asked Suhartoyo. "No, this is a receipt, a letter receipt," explained Putu.

Hearing this, Suhartoyo then asked Putu to copy the letter and then submit it to the Court as evidence.

"Okay, let's copy it so that it can be handed over to the court," said Suhartoyo.

Hasyim, who heard the statement, did not respond. So, Putu was invited to give his views at trial.

Meanwhile, the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD Kubu will present 19 witnesses and experts in the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial at the Constitutional Court (MK), today.

The head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis, said that of the 19 people presented, 9 of them were experts and 10 were fact witnesses.

"There are ten fact witnesses and nine experts. In total there are 19 yes," said Todung to reporters, Tuesday, April 2.

For the nine experts presented by the Ganjar-Mahfud camp, among others;
