DKI Provincial Government Opens 6 KJMU Complaints Posts, This Is The Location

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government provides an Unggul Student Jakarta Card (KJMU) service post in five administrative cities and the Thousand Islands Regency.

Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Purwosusilo, said that this post serves information, complaints, and consultations regarding the distribution of education social assistance.

Thus, registered and new students will not need to come to the office at the provincial level of the DKI Jakarta Education Office.

"We have prepared KJMU service and consultation posts at the Education Sub-Department Office in five cities and regencies of the Thousand Islands," said Purwosusilo in his statement, Tuesday, March 19.

Purwosusilo said, this post served on Monday-Friday at 08.00 WIB until 15.00 WIB following office working hours during Ramadan.

"Through this post, we hope that the public can obtain clearer information about the KJMU program," he said.

The following is the location of the KJMU service and consultation post in DKI Jakarta: 1. Central Jakarta Administrative City Education Sub-Department - Region 1: Central Jakarta Mayor's Office Block C 4th floor- Region 2: Central Jakarta Mayor's Office Block D 8th floor

The DKI Provincial Government is currently verifying and validating data on KJMU recipients, in the aftermath of the problem of updating the data collection mechanism which had drawn protests from students.

Based on data at the end of 2023, it was recorded that 19,042 students were included in the KJMU recipients. Along with the verification and validation of the current data, the DKI Provincial Government found 771 students not worthy of receiving KJMU.

The causes of the hundreds of students are not feasible to vary, ranging from no longer domiciled in Jakarta, not entering DTKS, having assets above Rp1 billion, to having the status of a capable family because their parents work as civil servants, BUMN employees, to the TNI-Polri. Thus, they were expelled from KJMU recipients.
