Not Submitting Letter Rights, PDIP Is In Cross-Faction Communication

The PDI-P faction (PDIP) of the DPR has not yet submitted a right of inquiry to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 election until now. In fact, this discourse emerged from his presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo.

Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Junimart Girsang, revealed the reason his party has not realized the application for the right of inquiry. He said, his party was still communicating across factions and parties.

"So whether or not we are having conversations across factions, across parties," said Junimart, Wednesday, March 13.

Junimart is reluctant to confirm whether the discourse on the right to inquiry has been rolled out at the Bamus meeting or not. He also did not want to reveal the number of signatures that had been collected as a condition for submitting the right to inquiry.

According to him, the member's signature is open. A measure. He also asked all parties to wait for the process to realize the right to inquiry.

"That's not a measure. If it doesn't meet the quota, it won't be possible. We'll see. We'll just wait," said Junimart.

Junimart explained that the right of inquiry is the right of the members of the DPR. Therefore, he considered that there was no need to worry about because the skyrocket was a form of the supervisory function, not to cancel it.

"What is the law, the investigation. Is there indeed a deviation. If it happens, what will happen again, so that it doesn't happen again later. Not to cancel. So don't say the right of inquiry to cancel. We criticize so that it doesn't happen again in the future," he said. "And the people already know, like the truth. The right is the decision, can't be executed? If you can, if you don't want to. So it's the right of members of the DPR, we'll just have to wait," concluded Junimart.
