JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will send the rank of honorary general or General of the TNI (HOR) to Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto at the TNI-Polri leadership meeting at the TNI Headquarters (Mabes), Cilangkap, East Jakarta, today Wednesday, February 28. Ayat 2 b said the local rank was given temporarily to soldiers who carry out special duties and positions that were temporary in nature, and needed a higher rank than the rank he held, for the validity of carrying out the duties of the position and do not carry out the consequences. Ayat 2 c said that the termular rank was given temporarily to the necessary citizens and was willing to carry out the necessary duties and be willing to carry out the duties of certain military positions within the TNI, valid as long as they still hold the position of soldiering, and carry out limited administrative results. "It needs to be underlined in Article 33 paragraph 3 a which reads 'the appointment or promotion of a special rank' is for active soldiers or not retired. For example, from Colonel to Brigadier General or from Lieutenant General to General because they have succeeded in carrying out their duties. Not for retired TNI soldiers or retirees," he said. It is known that Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to receive a special promotion from Indonesian President Joko Widodo to become a TNI general at the Leadership Meeting.
