The Mataram District Attorney, West Nusa Tenggara has detained four suspects in the alleged corruption case of the lightly damaged earthquake detention house (RTG) repair project in Jagaraga Indah Village, West Lombok Regency.

"We have entrusted the four suspects to detention in West Lombok Prison," said Head of the Mataram Kejari Intelligence Section Harun Al Rasyid in Mataram, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 22.

The four suspects in this case have the initials AP, JU, LI, and CN. For AP and JN are part of the community group (pokmas) responsible for the RTG development process.

"For CN and LI, this is a supplier of building materials," he said.

He explained that in this case the four suspects were suspected of having committed malicious conspiracy in the project to repair the houses of residents affected by the earthquake that occurred in 2018.

"So, the criminal indications are that there is a matter of budget cuts, distribution of building materials that are not in accordance with the RAB. Therefore, there has been a loss of BPKP audit results of Rp701 million," he said.

Harun said this detention was a follow-up to the submission of the suspect and evidence from the West Lombok Police investigators.

"Now, the public prosecutor is preparing an indictment for trial needs. When it is completed, we will immediately transfer it to the court," said Harun.
