Surya Paloh Reminds Anies-Muhaimin To Be Optimistic In Winning The Presidential Election

Chairman of the DPP NasDem Party Surya Paloh gave a message to the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) to remain calm during the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) process.

Surya explained, ahead of the voting day in the next three days, the two candidate leaders must be calm and prepare themselves, in order to maximize the struggles that have been carried out so far.

"I hope both of them must really prepare themselves to enter the last day and look forward to the final results," he said when he arrived at Anies-Muhaimin's grand campaign at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 10.

Paloh explained that all the possibilities that will occur during the presidential election must be faced calmly and remain patient waiting for the final results.

He is optimistic that the candidate pair number 1 can win the 2024 presidential election with one round.

"Yes, optimistic, the capital, especially if not optimistic to win one round," he said.

The senior politician also appreciated the supporters who packed JIS, in order to directly support the AMIN candidate pair.

According to Paloh, the capacity of seats at JIS which can accommodate more than 82 thousand spectators is seen to be crowded with supporters and volunteers, as well as in the middle of the stadium field.

Not to mention the roads around JIS that overflowed, because supporters were unable to enter the stadium.

This condition, he said, proves that the idea of change echoed by AMIN is very much supported by the community.
