TUBAN - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) strengthens the capacity of witnesses at polling stations (TPS) as a way to prevent fraud during the 2024 election vote collection and counting.

"We are strengthening the witnesses so that later there will be no fraud," said PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep after the grand campaign at Lokajaya Stadium, Tuban Regency, East Java, Friday, February 9, as reported by ANTARA.

Kaesang said the witnesses would be deployed at each polling station. However, it still adjusts to the number of PSI cadres available.

PSI continued, trying to ensure that the party witness can be spread across every polling station in Indonesia.

"Yes, later hopefully we can fulfill it. In all polling stations there can be (witnesses)," he added.

Until now, PSI at the central and regional levels has carried out technical guidance to strengthen the capacity of witnesses to the 2024 General Election.

Meanwhile, regarding the grand campaign in Tuban, Kaesang hopes that the voice of the Tuban community can bring PSI into parliament or get votes beyond the parliamentary threshold.

The youngest son of President Joko Widodo also asked the Tuban people to choose the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates serial number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Hopefully Tuban can contribute national votes for PSI and Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibrans so that they can win one round," he said.
