An Explosion Was Heard, A 2nd Floor House In The Gropet Hangus Area Was Devoured By Fire

JAKARTA - A two-story house in a densely populated area of Jalan Karya Barat 1, RT 8/03, Wijaya Kusuma Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, was destroyed by the red rooster, Tuesday, February 6.

In fact, there was a sound of explosion in the house which was thought to have come from a gas cylinder. The flames burned all the property in the permanent house. The fire that spread quickly, burned all the objects in the house.

A total of 14 fire engines were deployed to the location to extinguish the fire. Luckily, the flames were unable to spread to other buildings so that officers could extinguish the fire.

"The alleged cause was an electrical short circuit. It is estimated that the area burned was around 60 square meters," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when confirmed, Tuesday, February 6.

Luckily there were no casualties and injuries from the fire. The house is inhabited by a family head containing three people.

"The victim was injured nil. The object that caught fire was a residence owned by Hariyanto (90). The owner suffered a loss of Rp. 100 million," he said.
