Campaign In The Birth Area Of His Father, Sandiaga Hopes For A Maximum Voice Of Gorontalo Residents For PPP

JAKARTA - Head of the PPP Election Winning Body (Bappilu) in the 2024 General Election, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno campaigned in the Madu River area, Gorontalo City, Gorontalo Province.

Sandi said the campaign was also a moment to return to his hometown for him because his father was a Gorontalo person.

"Gorontalo is a very close province in my heart, because my father was born in Gorontalo City. My family is here," Sandi said in Gorontalo, Friday, February 2.

He said that in the 2019 election, many Gorontalo residents, dubbed the Serambi Madinah area, supported and elected him when running for vice president.

Therefore, he said that in the 2024 General Election, the support of the people of Gorontalo for him must be maintained, but different from 2019, this time residents can provide support for themselves and PPP.

According to him, PPP is a big party that is committed and promises to improve the community's economy, starting from the provision of cheap prices, easy work, for a better life.

He promised the people of Gorontalo that he and PPP would continue the popular programs and have been implemented during the era of President Joko Widodo's leadership, such as direct cash assistance programs, social assistance, pre-work cards, and answering all community needs.

"We hope that Gorontalo can contribute votes to PPP, which is in line for additional votes for candidate pair number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD," said Sandiaga Uno.

In addition to the campaign, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno together with all PPP cadres in Gorontalo also held cheap bazaars for residents.
