Government Finalizes Plan To Transfer ASN To IKN

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas stated that the government is finalizing a comprehensive plan to move the state civil apparatus (ASN) to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

"The president ordered to make a comprehensive scenario related to the comprehensive ASN transfer plan," said MenpanRB Abdullah Azwar Anas in the doorstoppasca-Rapat National Development Risk Management Committee (MRPN) at the Bappenas building, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 30. Azwar Anas said his party was finalizing the scenario, including formations for the central government of around 250,000 freshgradute formations for IKN.

Second, his party is perfecting the smartASN system which will integrate all ASN services into one smartASN. For the time being, he said, the useringle sign on (SSO) used by ASN uses a digital population identity (IKD) so that ASN immediately makes IKD to obtain e-performance services, including learning and training.

In addition, the Government is also encouraging the process of integrating various applications in the ministry.

"So, this is being 'forced', the target is that later in July all ministries will have one service portal, especially the district and city governments. Can it all be? We are making a pilot project. Well, the management of this national development risk becomes very important and this is integrated later with the orientation plan for bureaucratic reform until 2025 and 2045," said Azwar Anas.

MenpanRB said that his party was discussing with the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo regarding the percentage of local residents in IKN who became ASN.

"We are considering the President's direction for a percentage of local people to be given a special space to become ASN at IKN," he said.
