Sri Mulyani Banks Withdraws From Jokowi's Cabinet: This Is Work, I'm Working

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani answered about the issue of herself being ready to withdraw from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet in the Government of President Joko Widodo.

"This is work. I work, I work," answered Sri Mulyani briefly when met after attending a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 19.

Sri Mulyani attended two meeting agendas at the State Palace, namely discussing entertainment taxes and education funds.

After attending the two meetings, Sri Mulyani, who wore a pink boss, was seen leaving the State Palace area at around 11.30 WIB.

When approached by reporters, Ani, as she is familiarly called, briefly answered various questions asked by journalists.

He also rushed into the RI 26-plated car which had been parked.

This issue emerged when senior economist Faisal Basri in a discussion in Jakarta recently said Sri Mulyani was the minister who was morally the most ready to withdraw from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

Apart from Sri Mulyani, Faisal also said that the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono was ready to resign.

According to Faisal, the minister from the technocrats is ready to resign because of the issue of Presidential support in the presidential election.
