JAKARTA - Doctor in North Jakarta Benny Alpharandus suspects that the genitals of the boy with the initials AJ (6) in Rawa Indah Village, Kelapa Gading, are paraphymosis. Parafimotion is a condition or action on a man's genitals which results in the penis cap being pulled back and unable to return to its original position. By residents, the condition of AJ's genitals is said to be 'instigated by the genie' due to urinating carelessly on Sunday, December 31, later. "Yes, from a medical point of view, there is no such thing as being circumcised by a jinn. Maybe it was an incident where the protection of the penis membrane in children was attracted back. The medical term was paraphymosis," said Benny when met by the media in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, December 4. AJ's condition can be categorized as an abnormal incident in children. Benny also explained that if it was true that what AJ was experiencing was paraphymosis, it was not a congenital disorder. It is possible that an abnormality could occur when AJ was born, where the genitals in question were not covered with the skin. "So it must be examined, seen, confirmed by the experts, whether this is really a paraphymotion or why," said Benny. The phenomenon occurred in AJ, a 6-year-old boy on Sunday (31/12/2023) evening. Residents who were shocked by this phenomenon then flocked to AJ's house because they thought the boy had been circumcised by the genie. AJ's grandmother, Sami (60) said that the incident began when AJ urinated above the river near her house on Sunday evening. Suddenly, AJ screamed for help because he felt pain in his genitals. "I thought I was bitten by an ant, I called, here Grandma saw. Then I saw it. When I saw it, I was shocked to call a neighbor, 'it's gone'," said Sami. AJ was rushed by Sami to a clinic near his house and according to the clinic, AJ did not experience serious health problems and the condition of his genital membrane had indeed been released.
