In Front Of Students, Anies: Business And Politics Are Sectors, Clean Or Dirty Because Of Ethics

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate (candidate) number 1, Anies Baswedan invites students not to be aparistic about politics. According to him, good political education can lead from the campus environment.

"There is no problem with people entering politics. There are no problems with entering politics. Then, when will our politics be good?" Anies said during a discussion with a student at the University of National Development in Serang, Banten, Thursday, December 21, which was confiscated by Antara.

Anies said students should not be apathy to politics, because it becomes a necessity to live in a democratic country.

According to him, many students think that politics is dirty, so they are not interested in entering the world and choose to work or open a business.

In fact, Anies continued, politics and business can be clean or dirty depending on the ethics of someone who lives it.

"Don't be apathy (to politics)," said the former governor of DKI Jakarta.

Anies then told how he felt when talking with his students when he was still the rector of Paramadina University. At that time, Anies asked the students after graduating where they wanted to go and got an answer to want to do business.

He then replied to the answer by asking if the student did not want to enter politics. The student instead looked back at Anies and said that politics was dirty. Then, Anies again replied by asking if when the politics was dirty was the clean sector.

"So, business and politics are sectors, clean or dirty not because of sectors, but because of ethics," said Anies.
