Gibran Admits Salah, Jarnas 98: A Rare Leader

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the National Activists Network (Jarnas) 98, Sangap Surbakti, praised Gibran Rakabuming Raka's courage to publicly apologize in front of the media crew for the mistake in the statement "Asam Sulfat" needed by pregnant women.

"I think, we humans are the wrong place. Human dignity can be seen, when we make mistakes, then admit and apologize publicly," Sangap said when contacted by the media crew, Thursday, December 7.

Sangap said that Gibran's apology should have received a thumbs up. Because, Gibran admitted that the statement he made was wrong and immediately apologized for the mistake.

"There are parties who claim to love watching porn, instead are proud. Until today, they never apologized. In fact, in my opinion, I love watching porn is sexual deviation, you know. That's why it doesn't go away?," said Sangap.

"There are also parties, at the beginning of the campaign they claimed to be able to eliminate flooding. But when asked why there was still flooding, they even searched "the flood is still flooded, yes it's still flooded, that's true", instead of apologizing and repairing so as not to flood," Sangap continued.

Sangap also asked all parties not to gossip about the mistakes made by Gibran. They, continued Sangap, were asked to reflect their actions and actions before judging Prabowo's assistant in the 2024 presidential election.

"I challenge them, have they never made a mistake in their lives? If they say they have never, I'm sure they are hypocritical people," Sangap said.

"We should not dwell on that mistake. Our view must be reversed. Dare to make mistakes, dare to apologize too. This is a rare leader, you know. We must support this leader," continued Sangap.
