Property Business In Bali, Australian Couples Deported

BULELENG - The Class II Immigration Office of TPI Singaraja, Buleleng Regency, deported a married couple, Australian citizens, with the initials PNL (62) and RAL (60). Both are in the illegal business of renting property in Bali.

"The Singaraja Immigration Office has taken firm action in the form of deportation of two Australian foreigners.

"Deportation of the two was carried out due to misuse of a residence permit to lease property," said Head of the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Singaraja, Hendra Setiawan, Monday, December 4.

The two Australian citizens were deported with tight support by Singaraja immigration office officers through I GustiNgurah Rai Airport, on Monday (4/12).

Both were secured by the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteljakim) Singaraja Immigration in immigration surveillance patrols. Based on the investigation carried out by the Inteldakim team and the available evidence, the PNL and RAL pairs were proven to have abused the residence permit in the form of a property rental business.

"Even though he is the owner of the residence permit," he added.

From the results of the examination, both of them should be suspected of having activities that are not in accordance with the residence permit they have by renting out property and against violations that violate the Immigration Law.

"On this basis, we have received immigration administrative measures in the form of deportation and deterrence," he said.

"Both of them were deported through I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport using the Jetstar airline flight number JQ126 (Denpasar-Adelaide) with the final destination of Adelaide, Australia," added Hendra.
