The President Awarded the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana Star Medal of Honor to Iriana Jokowi

President Joko Widodo conferred the Honorary Sign of the Star of the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana to First Lady Iriana Jokowi (ANTARA)

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo awarded the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana Star Medal of Honor to First Lady Iriana Jokowi, and other honors to a number of figures at the State Palace, Jakarta.

In the award ceremony as part of the commemoration of the 78th Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia, at the State Palace, Jakarta, President Jokowi bestowed a total of 18 honors.

Apart from First Lady Iriana, President Jokowi also gave the Mahaputera Adipradana Star Medal of Honor to Wury Estu Handayani, Wife of Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin; Sukma Violetta, Member of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia - Head of Prevention and Capacity Building for Judges; and Saldi Isra, Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

Then, President Jokowi also awarded the Bintang Mahaputera Utama Medal of Honor to Joko Sasmito, Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission - Head of the Judge Supervision and Investigation Division.

Furthermore, President Jokowi also gave the Mahaputera Pratama Star Medal of Honor to Komjen Pol (Purn) Dr. Boy Rafli Amar, Head of BNPT.

President Jokowi also gave the Mahaputera Nararya Star Medal of Honor to Wishnutama Kusubandio, an artist.

For the Service Star Medal of Honor, President Jokowi bestowed the Main Service Star on Sumartoyo, Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission - Head of HR, Advocacy, Law, Research and Development (Period 2015 - 2020); Makarim Wibisono, M.A., Senior Advisor to the Minister of Environment and Forestry for International Cooperation; Anak Agung Gde Ngurah Ari Dwipayana, Special Staff to the President; Sukardi Rinakit, Special Staff to the President; and Olly Dondokambey, Governor of North Sulawesi.

After that, President Jokowi awarded the Bintang Jasa Pratama Medal of Honor to Soehardjono Sastromihardjo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN Habitat (2016 - 2020 Period), Sudharto Prawoto Hadi, Professor of Environmental Management at Diponegoro University as Chair of the PROPER Council of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry; Edvin Aldrian, Principal Researcher, Center for Climate and Atmospheric Research, National Research and Innovation Agency.

Meanwhile, for the Bintang Jasa Nararya Medal of Honor, President Jokowi gave the heirs of the late Drs. Ki Mohamad Amir Sutaarga, Museum Expert.

As for the Parama Dharma Cultural Star Medal of Honor, President Jokowi gave a token of honor to the heirs of the late Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati, cultural observer; and Heirs of the late Kanjeng Gusti Prince Haryo Djojokusumo, Artist of Culture and Education
