The New Always On-Display Feature Will Be Present On The 2021 IPhone Series

JAKARTA - Towards the end of this year the global market will see the arrival of the latest iPhone series. Interestingly, Apple will carry a new screen feature for phones that are claimed to be the iPhone 13 series.

As reported by a Bloomberg journalist quoted from Apple Insider, Monday, July 19, Mark Gurman said the 2021 iPhone series might have an Always On-Display feature similar to the iWatch. This feature will work as it has been embedded in most Android smartphones.

Gurman also submitted another report that the 2021 iPhone series will have an increase in battery life, equipped with a slimmer screen curve with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In the power, Gurman also said that the 2021 iPhone series will use the A15 processor which has a number of performance improvements from before. The processor will also allow for better video recording quality.

The Always On-Display feature has actually been widely discussed before. One of the leakers, Max Weinbach, had also hinted earlier this year that Apple would use a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) panel type in the 2021 iPhone series.

The panel is the same as the one embedded in Apple's smartwatch products. The leak from Max Weinbach is in accordance with a Bloomberg report which also states that there will be an LPTO panel for the Always On-Display feature on one of the smartphone models of the four 2021 iPhone series.

On iWatch devices, the technology in LTPO is used dynamically to adjust the refresh rate of the smartwatch screen to conserve battery life. Another reliable analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo also said earlier this year, that the 2021 iPhone Pro model series will have an LTPO screen and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Finally, Gurman also said that the company will soon announce the latest generation of MacBook Pro, between September and November. The new laptop will begin mass production in the third quarter of this year.
