Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Sergai Henry Suharto said the rain accompanied by strong winds occurred on Thursday, July 23.

"They are in Tebing Tinggi District, Sipispis District, Serbajadi District, Dolok Masihul District, and Pegajahan District," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 24.

He detailed the number of damaged houses in Tebing Tinggi District, precisely in Kutabaru Village there are four houses and one elementary school building unit.

There were no casualties in the incident. Meanwhile, the owners of the houses are currently evacuating to the homes of their relatives and neighbors.
