His Name Is On The PPP Caketum Exchange, Gus Ipul: Every Congress Is Always Called, Ordinary

JAKARTA - Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf responded casually along with his name on the candidate exchange for the General Chairperson of the United Development Party (PPP) DPP.

Gus Ipul, as he is familiarly called, considered that the names that entered the stock exchange, including his name, were common before the X PPP Congress.

"It's normal. So, every time you want a congress, several names are mentioned. Usually, Mrs. Khofifah is also mentioned, anyone can be called. Mr. Suharso can be called an ordinary discourse," said Gus Ipul quoting ANTARA, Sunday, December 15.

He admitted that he had not yet focused on whether he wanted to join PPP or not. He still hasn't thought about sure steps to join political parties.

"That's what I am mentioned every congress. It's normal," he said.

Chairman of the PPP DPP Advisory Council Muhammad Romahurmuziy or who is familiarly called Romy revealed a number of names that had appeared voiced to be pushed forward as candidates for PPPP General Chair at the 2025 Congress.

Several names are widely known between Taj Yasin's alin, Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf or who is familiarly called Gus Ipul and former Army Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman.

Rommy hopes that PPP will open up to accepting candidates for general chairman who come from external parties in the congress later.

Acting (Plt.) Chairperson of PPP Muhamad Mardiono said the United Development Party's X Congress will be accelerated to prepare for the upcoming 2029 General Election so that the party bearing the Kaaba can return to Senayan.

According to him, the acceleration of the PPP congress is so that the management who will be elected will have a long time to consolidate in preparation for the 2029 General Election.

For this reason, said Mardiono, the PPP DPP is currently holding a National Working Conference (Mukernas) II to prepare for the X Congress which will be held in the near future.

At Mukernas II, the management will decide the schedule for the congress, location and also the place to be used to accommodate cadres, administrators and invited guests.

This Mukernas II aims to conduct any evaluations in the implementation of the 2024 General Election and the 2024 Regional Head Election which will be held simultaneously.

In addition, on this occasion, the PPP DPP wants to build solidity with all cadres throughout Indonesia, because without this party cadre there is nothing.
