政治年度に先立ち、政党基金は投票あたり24,000ルピアに増やすことが提案されています

JAKARTA - Political parties are expected to be independent ahead of the political year to prevent corrupt practices. Do not let political parties receive large donations from other parties for operations.

This was conveyed by a member of the Legal Reform Acceleration Team Bambang Harymurti after meeting the National Corruption Prevention Strategy team (Stranas PK) on Tuesday, June 13.

"If you are financially independent, we also hope that political parties will be independent," said Bambang, quoted on Wednesday, June 13.

Bambang assessed that the money given by the state is currently small to make the group independent in making movements. Thus, his team together with Stranas PK assessed that party funds should be increased.

"If the political party wants to be adequate, it can be financially independent, it must have a budget, get around Rp. 24,000 per year per vote," he said.

This amount is far from the latest state budget, which is IDR 1,000 per vote per year. "So it is recommended that it be slowly increased so that the political party becomes our political party," said Bambang.

"It is not their political party that donates large funds," he continued.

With good funding, the interests of democracy in the country can get better. In fact, the term held hostage by the oligarchs can be lost.

"So that it is no longer called being held hostage by oligarchs, so we free the party from the oligarchic hostages again into an independent party, our political party," concluded Bambang.
