SERANG 'An Indonesian Migrant Workers Candidate (PMI) with the initials RU alias Iyuk (49) was arrested by the Serang Police. He was arrested for recruiting six women from Pontang, Serang Regency and Serang City, Banten to be made illegal workers in Saudi Arabia.

This mother of two children was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1), Article 4, Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Weighting of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) in conjunction with Article 81 Jo 86 letter b of Law Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
