A Boy In Lombok Dies With Bruises In A Bruise In The Head, Police Haven't Found A Guide

The East Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) team, West Nusa Tenggara, investigated the cause of an 8-year-old girl who died with bruises on her mouth and bleeding blood on her face.

"Because there are allegations that the victim died unnaturally, the East Lombok Police Satreskrim Team is currently investigating whether this is related to a criminal act or not," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Arman Asmara Syafruddin quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 26.

The investigation, he said, began with the process of evacuating the body of a boy with the initials RNA who was found in a prone position tilted to the right in the field behind a resident's house about 200 meters from the victim's house. RNA's body was found on Wednesday, May 24 afternoon by residents.

"After the evacuation by the Inafis team, the TKP processing continued and a meeting with the victim's family. There was also a request for information from a number of witnesses, including the victim's family and the hamlet head," he said.

Because there were allegations that the victim died unnaturally, the police on Wednesday night immediately evacuated RNA's body to the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital for the post-mortem process.

Regarding the results of the medical examination, Arman admitted that he had not received any information from the East Lombok Police Satreskrim Team.

"Later we will inform you again if there is any development of information. What is clear is that if there is an alleged criminal act, it will be increased to the level of investigation," he said.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the East Lombok Police, Iptu Nicolas Oesman, added that his party was still waiting for the results of the examination from the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital.

"Yes, so, there are no results from the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital. Still waiting," said Nicolas.
