BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, recorded that 1,893 houses in two sub-districts were flooded during heavy rains.
"Not only houses, residents' road access was also flooded, because the flood height was about 50-60 centimeters," said Head of the Bogor Regency BPBD Emergency and Logistics Division, Aris Nurjatmiko, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.
The flood submerged 1,893 houses inhabited by 2,592 families, causing 10,294 people to be affected.
Floods occurred at three points, namely Waringin Jaya Village, Susukan Village, Bojonggede District and Bojongkulur Village, Gunungputri District.
According to him, the houses affected by the flood were mostly in the Bojongkulur Village area, Gunungputri District. Even so, Aris ensured that the flood did not last too long and has now receded.
