The joint Search and Rescue Team (SAR) in a search operation on the third day found victims of a marine accident as a result of being dragged by the waves of Parangtritis Beach, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, in a state of death.

He said the bodies of the victims who were found floating on the edge of Widuri Beach, which is about 2.4 kilometers from the location of the disaster incident (LKM) in the Parangtritis Beach area, were then evacuated by the joint SAR Team to the local post.

"At around 13.12 WIB, the victim arrived at the Joint SAR Command Post to be followed by the DIY Regional Police Inafis (Polda)," he said.

Based on the results of the post-mortem by the DIY Police Inafis, the body was the victim on behalf of Fida Auni (14), a student from Subang, West Java who on Wednesday (26/4), at around 09.45 WIB reportedly was dragged by the waves while playing on Parangtritis Beach, Bantul.

He said that the victim's handover was then carried out to the family, and it was proposed to close the SAR Operation for the sea accident at Parangtritis Beach, Bantul.

Furthermore, personnel from related elements involved in the search operation of the joint SAR Team were returned to their respective units.

He said the marine accident on Parangtritis Beach, Bantul, was reported on Wednesday (26/4), at 09.45 WIB, starting when the victim and his entourage, all of whom came from Subang, swam on the beach.

However, not long after, three people among the group, including the victim who was dragged by the beach waves, were rescued and evacuated by the Joint SAR Team and taken to the nearest health clinic.

However, one person known as Fida Auni (14) was still being searched, before being found dead by the joint SAR Team today.
