Immigration Documents Of 3 Myanmar Citizens Rescued By East Aceh Fishermen Will Be Examined

ACEH - Officer of the Class II TPI Langsa Immigration Office, Aceh, picked up and secured three Myanmar residents who were previously rescued by fishermen in East Aceh Regency. Fajri, staff of the Class II TPI Langsa Immigration Office, in East Aceh said they were secured for further investigation and immigration proceedings. "We will examine and complete several immigration documents for the three before they are deported to their country of origin," said Fajri when picking up the three Myanmar citizens in Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, April 19. After confirming the status of the three, said Fajri, his party will coordinate with their embassy in Indonesia. Coordination is also related to their repatriation to their country of origin. "The travel documents will depend on the results of coordination with their embassy in Indonesia. So repatriation to the country of origin is very dependent on the documents issued by their embassy," said Fajri. Meanwhile, the Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol-PP) of East Aceh Regency, Teuku Amran, said that the three colors of the Myanmar country had been treated at the Zubir Mahmud East Aceh Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Idi. "The three Myanmar residents have been picked up by the immigration authorities for inspection and further processing. They were previously rescued in the waters of the Malacca Strait," said Teuku Amran. Previously, three Myanmar nationals were found by fishermen from Idi Cut, East Aceh Regency in critical condition and adrift on a fishing barrel in the waters of the Malacca Strait. Then, the fisherman from East Aceh evacuated them using Akhyar's KM Kambia motorboat alias Tole Alee, who was headed by Razali Hasan, then taken to the hospital.

The three were evacuated to land via Kuala Idi Cut, East Aceh, Monday (17/4) at around 12.00 WIB. The three were Say Lux (26), Mexco (39), and Sunyun Wien (40).
