Central Java Police Distributes 7.5 Tons Of Rice To Magelang Residents, Targeting Street Vendors And Residents Who Don't Receive Direct Cash Assistance
Central Java - Central Java Regional Police distributed 7.5 million tons of rice for residents of Magelang Regency who were affected by the implementation of community activity restrictions (PPKM). The assistance will be channeled through the API Tegalrejo Islamic Boarding School.
Central Java Regional Police Superintendent Inspector, Kombes Mashudi, said this rice aid was an effort to ease the burden on the community affected by PPKM.
The target recipients of this assistance include street vendors and workers who do not receive direct cash assistance (BLT).
Meanwhile, the caretaker of the API Tegalrejo Islamic Boarding School, KHYusuf Chudlori, said that this food aid would be very useful.
"It will be distributed to the public evenly", he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 21.
Gus Yusuf also asked the police for help in finding residents who had not eaten for assistance.
